A good example is when players are trying to make a straight. If a player makes an ace, then his hand is a straight. If he makes a flush, then his hand is also a flush. When more than one person is in the pot, it&#8217;s called a &#8220;showdown&#8221; and the person with the best hand wins the pot.<\/p>\n<p>In poker, the best hand is called the &#8220;nuts.&#8221; This hand consists of two distinct pairs plus one higher card. A high card can break a tie in many situations, especially if no one has a pair. Also, the highest card in a hand breaks ties when several people have the same high hand. The best hand is called the &#8220;nuts.&#8221; This hand is the best at any given moment. There are many other hands that a player can have, but only two pairs of the same type can win.<\/p>\n<p>Almost all poker games use poker chips. The lower value chips are white, while the higher-valued chips are red and blue. If there are seven or more players in the game, it&#8217;s best to supply poker chips for everyone. The chips are generally divided among the players who remain in the game.
