\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is a gambling game in which players make bets on their cards. The player with the best hand wins the pot. If more than one player has a winning hand, a showdown occurs. During this stage, the cards are revealed to all players.<\/p>\n

Typically, the best possible hand is a five-card draw. However, there are also some other hands that may be used. One of these is a straight. A straight is a five-card hand with all the same suit.<\/p>\n

Four of a kind is a poker hand consisting of four cards of the same rank. When two players have four of a kind with the same rank, the high card outside the hand breaks ties.<\/p>\n

Another poker hand is a pair. Two identical cards are called a pair. Using the same suit and rank, a pair can also be formed. For instance, a pair of kings is a good off-the-deal hand.<\/p>\n

Other poker hands include the straight. A straight is a five-card combination of two different cards of the same suit. This hand is often used as the final showdown.<\/p>\n

Players can bet or fold based on probability and game theory. Normally, a player is required to make the first bet.<\/p>\n

After the first round of betting, the dealer deals the community cards face-up. The dealer must offer the shuffled pack to an opponent for cut.<\/p>\n

Each player then must discard up to three of his or her cards. After the last discard, the dealer is ready to deal the next card.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
