The reason I’m calling it a starter’s guide is while I love the research reported in this book, I want to go back and redo each piece for 2010. This is such an nascent field of pedagogy that I feel we have to keep looking at what is emerging. My suggestion is read Chapter 2: A Model for Framing Model Learning first.
